In the photo, you see Dr. Hani Badran, a cardiologist known not only for his medical expertise but for the boundless warmth and kindness he extended to everyone around him. He had a smile that could soften even the hardest day, a laugh that brightened his patients’ spirits, and a heart so open that it seemed as though he held the weight of others’ suffering as his own.
Dr. Badran was the kind of doctor who treated everyone like family. He was as gentle as he was strong, as compassionate as he was wise. To him, medicine wasn’t just a profession; it was a way to bring relief, hope, and dignity to others. He often spoke of his dream of one day living peacefully with his family, free from the shadows of war, a simple wish, really, to feel safe, to watch his children grow in a world where they didn’t have to fear the sky above.
On the first day of the ground invasion in northern Gaza, he sent a quiet message to a private group of fellow doctors. He asked if any ambulances or international organizations were evacuating trapped civilians. He wanted to protect his family, to take them somewhere safe. But no one could answer. In Gaza, we don’t have the luxury of escape.
Today, that same sky he had hoped would one day be peaceful came crashing down on his home. An airstrike targeted his house, killing 17 members of his family. Seventeen people. Gone. In one moment.
The image you see now is a still from a video showing Dr. Badran mourning the ones he held dearest. His face bears the look of a man who has given all of himself to others, only to have the most precious pieces of his life taken from him. His grief is a grief that no words can capture, a pain so vast it feels as if the world itself might break.
Seeing him like this, it shatters the heart. There’s no justice in this, no logic, no sense. Dr. Hani Badran was a healer, a friend, a father, a husband. He wanted nothing more than to live in safety. And yet, safety is the one thing that remains out of reach for so many in Gaza.
This isn’t just his story; it’s the story of thousands who only wish for a chance to live and love in safety.

🚨🇵🇸 With 2024 coming to an end, it’s time for a MEGA thread of all terrorist acts, war crimes and straight F*CKED UP things Israel/Zionists have done this year

Trump's team reportedly wants to abolish the FDIC, a key bank regulator that was established after the Great Depression to protect the public.
Make no mistake: The goal of Trump's second term is to enrich Wall Street.
Everyone else will be left behind.
Doctors from the Indonesian medical delegation at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza speak about being threatened and forced by the Israeli army out of the hospital after the army raided the facility this morning.
The FBI strikes again: In the early morning hours of Nov 7 over 12 police officers broke down the door and raided the family home of two Palestinian American students at George Mason University. The authorities told the family the raid was related to spray-paint vandalism.
A Fairfax County detective with the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force — cross-designated as a local and federal agent — was also present. The family and Mason faculty supporting them believe they know what the FBI-led investigation was about: the young family members’ pro-Palestine activism.

So the guy raking in $71 million an hour since Election Day gets to decide if your $1,900 Social Security check, something you’ve paid your whole life for, is "too much" and better spent on his shiny space toys? How detached from reality one must be to buy that?
Statement by the American Society of Anesthesiologists:
“In an unprecedented move, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield plans representing Connecticut, New York and Missouri have unilaterally declared it will no longer pay for anesthesia care if the surgery or procedure goes beyond an arbitrary time limit, regardless of how long the surgical procedure takes.
The American Society of Anesthesiologists calls on Anthem to reverse this proposal immediately.”
Absolutely horrifying scene out of Beirut today.
Israel is deliberately wiping out entire civilian apartment buildings without justification or restraint—sheer destruction for the sake of it.
This is an American-funded, American-backed genocide.
Lebanese paramedics sit amidst the rubble, grieving their murdered colleagues.
Israel bombed a Civil Defense Center in Baalbek, Lebanon, wiping out 15 paramedics in an instant.
These were first responders, not combatants.
This is sheer barbarity.
We have all the evidence that the israelis are deliberately targeting medical staff & our fellow doctors in Gaza are waiting to die, says British Dr Talbot
