@anima76@IamSean90 So me saying "his positioning wasn't ideal" means what to you exactly? Something as simple as taking 2 steps back to give him more space to react would improve his positioning but still keep him in front of the car.
@anima76@IamSean90 I believe if you're going to put yourself in front of a vehicle, there are a few things you should consider. If we're going to speak in general one way or another absolutely, I'd go with not standing in front of a car is better than standing in front of a car.
@anima76@IamSean90 To your second point, the driver seeing or not seeing you affects your level of risk, you can never eliminate all risk but you can reduce it. If you're going to be putting yourself in dangerous situations you generally want to reduce it where you can.
@anima76@IamSean90 Good practice to make sure a driver sees you before you step in front of their vehicle or factor in they may have not when deciding on your position. What exactly is your issue with this? Only that you think its ridiculous?
@anima76@IamSean90 You're replying to something I'm not saying, no one is saying they can never step in front of a vehicle, only that it would be good practice that reduces risks to try and make sure the driver sees them before they do, or at least be mindful of the fact that they haven't.
@anima76@IamSean90 Considering how easily he could have been ran over I wouldn't say its a ridiculous safety standard to train agents to be mindful of such things.
@anima76@IamSean90 It is helpful to look at how the event played out, even if its just so we know to train agents to make sure the driver sees you before you step in front of their vehicle. His positioning was not ideal.
@pureMetatron Citizens have the right to protest and observe/record. Unless a longer video comes out, currently we do not have evidence showing her intergerring. She likely didn't see the agent given he walked through her blindspots then in front when the other agents approached from the left
@Asmongold@TheOmniLiberal Would have to see more to confirm she was trying to run him over, he walked around the back and right side of her vehicle to get in front of it, given that the other agents were approaching her from the left I wouldn't be surprised to find out she didn't even see him.
