@mikejwhelan @John_Dabell I had chemo/immuno started in July: after one lung nodule was found. Not sure if Mets from head or new primary so was given 4 rounds chemo with keytruda then immuno alone. After 2 treatments tumor shrunk by half. Now have pnemitis and on rest and a short course of steroids.

@mikejwhelan I see so much of myself in your writing. Also H&N, I had 1 NED then 8 weeks later a lung nodule - chemo and immunotherapy all summer. The tumor shrunk by 50%, the bad news is chemo was stopped because too toxic, still getting Immunotherapy, but scared and wondering what's next.

#Cancer Dx with head and neck ca Oct 23. Head and neck resection, chemo radiation. 1st scan May 24.Nodule in the lung. Biopsied, onc thinks new malignancy and not Mets. Pet scan last week showed chest lymph involvement. More biopsies before treatment plan. want to move on quick

@TheCancerSutra I’m having a CT guided lung biopsy tomorrow after a lung nodule was discovered on a follow up scan on May 22. A month. I was told too many patents not enough resources. This at a major academic med center in TN. I have called every other day asking or begging for a quicker appt.

@TelegraphRoyals @AllisonPearson I went back to work 2 weeks post head and resection. Cont to work through chemo and radiation. Don’t insult me. I didn’t have a choice but get on with it.

@mikejwhelan I just finished 6 weeks chemo/radiation on Feb 9. The last two weeks of treatment were brutal. I have lived on high cal Boost for weeks, but no tube. My docs at Vanderbilt put me on a Gabapentin protocol before I had any pain and I didn’t need any opiates. Good luck!
