@Debbie_blvck Nothing wrong with this debate. The girl is young so her point of argument might not be strong enough, but there are people who prefer Garri because it’s quick, you can make Eba, you can create job opportunities if you have a cassava farm. Less stop putting food into class.
The same way a debate on whether a farmer is better than a teacher doesn’t mean one profession is inferior to the other. The issue is the meaning society has attached to certain things, not the debate topic itself.
No. I don’t agree with this take.
choosing garri over rice is not automatically a poverty mindset. I have met people who don’t like rice. There are people with constant electricity, gas, who will still prefer Garri because they’re tired, hungry craving it, simply prefer it.
You can say it's not that deep, I said what I said!
To you it's 2 minutes comic relief but this is someone's educational experience
And I hope your feelings don't change if that was your child or if you learnt this what they taught your child in school👍
People make eba with Garri I hope we know that. The purpose of a school debate is not always to determine what is right or wrong. It is to teach children how to think critically, build arguments, and speak confidently in public. The students may not even personally agree
It could be due to hormonal changes, stress, weight changes, medication, pregnancy, or age-related changes. One shorter period isn't usually a concern, but persistent changes should be checked by a healthcare professional.
The challenge might not be finding a job, it’s finding a job that comes with sponsorship and the truth is having Masters degree might not cut it, there are other factors some even outside your control

If Joseph could forgive his brothers, I have no doubt he forgave Potiphar’s wife too. The Bible highlights his integrity and character throughout his story, and if unforgiveness had been part of it, we’d probably know about it.
A poor interpretation of the Bible.....
The book doesn't comment on whether or not he went back to look for Potiphar's wife......
This is simply the Pastor adding his own story to the Bible.....
I should stand up now so you don’t think less of me. My dear, think less of me if you must 😂, but you will stand up. Unless you're pregnant or elderly you get a pass. Everyone else? will stand up.
Your in-laws don’t have to like you for your marriage to work. You’re not exchanging vows with them; you’re exchanging vows with your partner. The Bible says a man should leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife. If the relationship is healthy and built on love, don’t let anyone else’s opinion stop you from marrying the person you love.
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Eph 4:22
Lol.. context is important o. The context is, it's not that every statement in Scripture is God's direct speech; rather, every Scripture is God's inspired revelation and is therefore authoritative and profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.
Scripture is not necessarily the Word of God. It contains all kinds of writing. God spoke, Satan spoke, men under the influence of all kinds of spirits, and men under the Holy Spirit also spoke.
