カメラも、記憶も、取引履歴も、時間が経てば消える。

だから複雑な事件の専門知識は、正直、乏しい。
これは交番の警官が無能だからじゃない。
そういう「設計」になってるからだ。
白状する。
俺も交番にいた頃、複雑な案件をうまく捌けなかった。
被害者に頭を下げて、署の担当に回したことがある。 あの疲れた顔を、今も覚えてる。
だから言う。
詐欺、相続、複雑な事件は、最初から警察署の担当部署へ行け。
交番を飛ばしていい。
被害届は「怒りをぶつける紙」じゃない。
捜査を始めてもらう「入口」。
入口を、間違えるな。
