If you know a man who struggles with flu-like symptoms after climax, we are recruiting for patients experiencing post-orgasmic illness syndrome!

We are n=49 in our male orgasm study.
These data are looking so clean!
Galvanic skin response (from foot)
Pneumatic response (from anus)
Temperature (from neck)
I am so excited about these data. Another male showing a drop in SNS pre-climax.
I'm getting more and more confident we are going to revise the Masters and Johnson model of sexual response...
but we have n=51 more to go!
We are still looking for patients with the rare disorder post-orgasmic illness syndrome (POIS) for a laboratory study in Los Angeles!

This might be the most beautiful temperature plot to date in our male orgasm study.
It is very rare to have a human body responding in such a clear pattern!
The first jump is when manual stimulation starts (~1,100).
We have n=43 male climax in the lab, and the traces are gorgeous!
This shows about 18 contractions, an outlier from the 8-12 contractions described at "typical" in research from the 1980's.
@zoref07 Data collection will probably go on at least 6 more months. We will be presenting interim results at conferences before papers start to go in.
Science is slow...and careful.
Our study on UCLA campus is almost done recruiting for open volunteers (before we start looking for patients).
If you have an interest and are in Los Angeles, you can find out if you are qualified and/or volunteer here:
