@DrEliDavid Yeah but what does checkmate mean? That you captured the king. You don't have to go on and capture the last pawn standing. (And if you did deliver a checkmate and your opponent says they're still alive and kicking, that doesn't change much, does it?)

@sharonidan צודק ולא צודק. צודק שהיה טעות לדבר על כמה ימים נותרו ולא על כמות הטילים והמשגרים שנותרה. להבנתי נותרו להם עד 1200 טילים שמסוגלים להגיע לישראל ו160 משגרים, כשרוב המשגרים מושמדים מיד לאחר השיגור. כך שצפויים לכל היותר 250 שיגורים עד שהם נהיים חותים. תוך כמה ימים זה יקרה? תלוי בהם.

@RaybBirt @marpeljoon @NiohBerg I agree. In my view, I tend to disapprove of the concept of an "empire" i.e. one nation forcefully controlling other indigenous nations without asking them if they want it or not (of course when said nations don't pose any security threats).

@marpeljoon @RaybBirt @NiohBerg As I see it, ethnic groups deserve the right to decide whether they want to be independent in their historical homeland. Of course when they are under a dictatorship nobody asks them. But it seems like the right thing to do, don't you think?

Also, if you're so sure the Kurds don't want independence, why do you object to a referendum?
