I think Ross is asking a rhetorical question because he knows the answer: The Pentagon (or the folks within the Pentagon who work on The UFO problem) will do whatever they can to keep any videos showing advanced technology (ours or "theirs") from reaching the public. Videos garner a TON of attention, and invite questions. Look at what happened in 2017 with the Tic Tac, Gimbal and Go Fast footage. That received coverage in media outlets all over the world, and we have yet to see a repeat of that. We've had periods when the coverage increased but nothing like back then. Pentagon’s Report on UFOs has Errors and Falsehoods: Ross Coulthart

Ross Coulthart highlights that AARO completely ignored some military UFO incidents in their historical report.

It’s my understanding that AARO will talk about UFO encounters over nuclear sites in Volume 2 of their report, set to come out later this year. No mention of the 2004 Nimitz Encounters or the 2015 USS Roosevelt event though that started this recent UFO enchilada.

Ross says that members of Congress will not stop pushing for answers because a lot of the witnesses didn’t go to AARO, they went to the ICIG and Congress.

Many of you are asking for my reaction regarding the just released @DoD_AARO report. There is much to say. I want to think carefully before saying more. I am not unsympathetic to US National Security needs in this.

In February of 2023, @joerogan invited me for four hours onto the world's largest English Language program (episode #1945) to describe in detail the mystery of potential US Government involvement in UFOs and Post-Einsteinian physics during the mysterious "Golden Age of General Relativity". It has been seen and discussed by millions as expected. I was thus eager to see how thorough this report would be by combing it for search strings raised in my research.

CONCLUSION: This report purports to have studied the questions raised surrounding UFO/UAP related research of the US federal Government. It, in fact, appears to have studied a carefully chosen SUBSET of the claims selected from among those which appear to have mass appeal to the so-called "UFO Community." It completely, or nearly completely, avoided reporting on all questions surrounding issues which have been raised in serious research and by PhD level researchers who have raised scientific questions in this area. This continues the pattern of using PhD level government scientists who appear to avoid the actual research questions most likely to involve sensitve Special Access Programs and Stovepiped Research which are compartmentalized by design. Whether the omissions are due to issues of avoidance, misdirection (e.g. so-called Limited Hangout strategy), ignorance or incompetance cannot be discerned from the information given.

RECOMMENDATION: It is simply not possible to treat the current AARO report as historically complete or comprehensive. To gain the public trust, the successor to AARO would have to expand and redo this analysis with input from domain professionals who are trusted by the public not to have an apparent agenda or government background (e.g. Prof. David Kaiser of MIT or Dr. Nima Arkani Hamed of IAS, Prof. Brian Keating of UCSD, Avi Loeb of Harvard) Otherwise, it is relatively easy for scientists to "Follow the Silence" in government reports to see what is *not* being addressed or discussed.

I was astonished by one of the central claims made by Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick in his recent article in Scientific American blasting UAP 'conspiracists.' Specifically, his claim that: "As of the time of my departure, none, let me repeat, none of the conspiracy-minded 'whistleblowers' in the public eye had elected to come to AARO to provide their 'evidence' and statement for the record despite numerous invitations."

I’m baffled because, in an effort to assist his investigation, I introduced Dr. Kirkpatrick to the former Director of the AATIP program, Lue Elizondo, as well as Dr. Eric Davis and Dr. Hal Putoff. Each of these prominent voices associated with the AATIP program spent hours briefing Dr. Kirkpatrick in a classified setting. None have received any feedback. Hopefully, the pending report to Congress on the alleged UAP recovery program will describe the specific claims made by these and dozens of other witnesses and what AARO did to evaluate them.

Absolutely, and unlike Kirkpatrick's unfounded, unofficial parroted op-ed claims, those he asserts are credulous and without evidence have themselves provided sworn testimony and provided evidence to the IG and relevant Congressional committees. In other words, they provided testimony and undisclosed first hand evidence as fact. This includes Grusch per his recent Dospr cleared permission to state he has observed first hand evidence to substantiate his sworn testimony, submitted to the IG. If they lie under oath, they are subject to prosecution and loss of their security clearance. Kirkpatrick notably hasn't countered with any skin in the game. He's only offered up emotionally charged op-ed personal opinions, not under oath testimony and lied his ass off claiming he attempted to contact David Grusch multiple during his placemat position at AARO. If Kirk had actually attempted such, he would have produced the records to clear his reputation, after being accused of lying by Grusch.
Just a coincidence he suddenly decided to prematurely retire within the next week, right? Pinocchio Award...
