Partner: Are you making something?
Me: Yeah, I’m heating up a pot pie. You’re not having a stroke.
Partner: You know that’s what killed that one guy, right?
Me: What, a pot pie?
Partner: No, you dick. A stroke.
Me: What? I got confused!
I forgot how bizarrely funny it was. Only bummer is that I can’t find episodes 9 and 10 online.
But man, it was such a delight being able to revisit what I was able to.
I couldn’t understand why so many people tell me I look upset or mad at when I’m really not until I caught my reflection in a window and went “Ah, yeah now I can see it.”
Sometimes I hate the “I need to take this apart to understand why this isn’t working” compulsion I have because it occasionally means I don’t actually put the thing back together.
Today wasn’t that day, because I figured out why my fan wasn’t working and don’t have the money to get a new one.
Just turned out that the fan had a bunch of dust and gunk in it.
As I’m rummaging through my bag to make sure I have everything, my partner goes “You don’t have a badge for where you’re going, do you?” just as I touch my badge.
I giggle, pull it from my bag, and show him my badge. He kind of blinks and goes, “Welp that’s on me for assuming.”
If anyone is familiar with The Show That Goes Wrong (and/or The Play That Goes Wrong adaptation of it) please let me know. I just saw the play tonight and I’m not okay.
I’ve been a fan for years and it was better than I ever imagined it to be. I feel so fortunate that not only did it come back to Seattle again after the venue it’s at season’s closed, but I had the means and capacity to able to see it.
My partner talked me through making a dairy free creamy chicken, mushroom, and spinach pasta dish tonight. I’m happy he did, cause I suddenly feel able to help take over making more meals for us.
He’s such an amazing cook, and something I’m trying to do is actually experiment more making food, and he’s made me actually want to cook more intricate dishes.
Dear Body,
You’re a jerk for reminding me that I have organs that I don’t want anymore. Thanks to you, I am definitely going to be starting the process to fix that.
No Love,
Me
With the help of my partner, I have been able to actually get blood drawn to check my testosterone levels so I don’t have to worry about my doctor bugging me about it
I got a gaming headset for myself in an attempt to give myself a more submerse experience. I used it all of one time before giving it to my partner as an eu Christmas gift. He’s been using it a ton since getting it and it’s been the cutest thing to watch him game and chat.
