This is my original account. It was created in 2014, and suspended by X in 2020 because I was doing too much of a good job debunking the COVID narrative.

It was unexpectedly restored by X on December 15, 2025. I'll save it as a back-up, but will swap the "handle".

Let me recap the COVID scam.

A man-made virus leaked out of a lab.

They hid it with a meat market story.

No one fell for it, so they ramped up the rhetoric.

They used a flawed test to increase cases.

People finally started to panic.

A real cricis emergend.

The lab leak story was averted.

They tried to end the crisis with slogans like "2 weeks to flatten the curve" and "herd immunity".

The cases continued to pile up because of the flawed tests.

We passed the herd immunity threshold.

The cases continued to climb because of the flawed test.

They then bet on a vaccine to end the pandemic.

They couldn't use a vaccine, because there were other treatments available (Ivermectin, HCQ).

They demonized Ivermectin.

They imposed Draconian mandates, such as travel quarantine hotels.

They rushed a vaccine, based on a new technology, into production.

The started jabbing people.

The jabbs caused more cases.

The invented variants of the virus.

They mandated the jabs.

The imposed more restrictions, like vaccine passports.

The cases continued to increase.

They increased the number of doses.

The vaccines and the flawed testing caused more cases.

Some politicians saw this as an opportunity for a Great Reset or simply to grab more power.

The truckers protested.

Trudeau prepared for his Great Reset by imposing martial law.

Russia invaded Ukraine, and we now had a new crisis to replace COVID.

Basically a novel virus spread, institutions guessed wrong, overpromised, punished dissent, and then clung to tools that stopped working. Governments had ample opportunities to admit they were wrong, at numerous points along the way, and end this. Instead, they plunged us into 3 years hell that destroyed lives and livelihoods.

No one has ever been held accountable. There are still people defending this. Heck, some have even been rewarded for their incompetence.

VIA Rail Canada is not profitable. It's a Crown corporation that runs a large annual operating loss and depends on federal subsidies.

In 2025 (latest full-year figures, released May 2026):

Total revenues: about $515–518 million

Operating expenses: $894 million

Operating loss: $375.7 million

Self-generated revenue covered 58% of operating costs

Government operating funding: $375.7 million

Total government funding (operating + capital): about $736 million

Ridership was roughly flat at 4.4 million passengers. The Quebec City–Windsor corridor generates most trips and covers a higher share of its costs; long-distance and remote/regional services require much larger subsidies per passenger.

VIA treats passenger rail as a public service rather than a commercial business. It has improved cost recovery in recent years but is not expected to turn an operating profit without major changes to routes, fares, or infrastructure.

This is just another waste of taxpayer money...and a wealth transfer fron the west to the east.

$4.7 billion for 700 jobs. You do the math.

I've suggested something like this in the past.

Voting should be based on the amount of taxes you pay, similar to how corporations do it.

a) Every citizen gets one vote to start with.

b) If you pay between $1-and $99,999 in taxes you get an extra vote.

c) If you pay $100,000 or more in taxes you get 2 extra votes.

d) If you work for the government, you forfeit your vote (while you're employed) because you're in conflict of interest.

e) If you have dual citizenship you also forfeit your vote because of your conflict of interest.

Businesses have votes annually, so shareholders have a lot of opportunities to punish / reward directors.

We only have a vote every 4 years, so we definitely need a better system to protect voters from bad actors.

I've had time to reflect on the signature validation announced on Friday, and I share some of my thoughts in this video.

Elections Alberta’s signature validation for the Stay Free Alberta petition had a basic flaw. They treated every signature as independent and just randomly sampled 384 people. But signatures weren’t collected evenly. A small number of canvassers gathered the bulk of them (classic power-law pattern).

If a few canvassers were sloppy or inconsistent, the problems would be clustered, not randomly scattered. Simple random sampling of individuals is weak at catching that.

Industrial quality control (like the Alberta Boilers Safety Association inspecting pipeline welds) accounts for this. They sample by welder/crew and put more scrutiny on high-volume producers. Elections Alberta didn’t.

The “verification” standard itself was also questionable. Requiring people to accurately remember when and if they signed months later is unreliable. Human memory isn’t that precise.

So was the real goal rigorous quality control, or just hitting a statistical threshold that looks good on paper?

Better methods exist. They just weren’t used.

Most people don't appreciate or even comprehend this.

This is Glacier View, Alaska, specifically at the Glacier View River Retreat / Arnie's 4th of July event.

This small community in Alaska has an annual July 4th tradition of launching old/junk cars (sometimes trucks, boats, or other vehicles) off a 300-foot cliff.

It started around 2005 as a fun way to celebrate Independence Day when it's too bright for fireworks due to the midnight sun in summer. It's grown into a huge attraction.
