@chicken_henny Did a whole module on the importance of illustrations in children's books specifically. I can still vaguely recall some art from books I saw as an INFANT. They stick with me like dreams with the stories they told.

@Sheepinacart @chicken_henny The ethics of commissioning vs using AI is smthing else entirely imo. Baseline: Child imagery recall is a lot stronger than we think. Images, illustrations, posters in a classroom, can stick in our memory for ages. There must be some meaning in recalling an illustration vs AI.
