THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS ORIGINALLY FEMININE…

Most people don't know this.

or dont like it

but it changes everything about how we understand the divine.

In the original Hebrew, the word for Spirit is Ruach.

It's feminine.

In Aramaic...the language Jesus actually spoke....it's Shekinah.

Also feminine.

The Greek Pneuma became neutral.
The Latin translated it masculine.

And the feminine aspect of God was slowly erased.

But the Gnostics preserved it.
They called her Sophia.

Wisdom.
Not a metaphor.

A divine feminine principle.
In Proverbs, Wisdom says:
"I was there before creation. I was beside God as a master craftsman."
The early Christians believed Sophia entered Mary.

That she descended as a dove at Jesus' baptism.
That she gave voice to the apostles at Pentecost.

She wasn't hidden because she didn't exist.

She was hidden because patriarchal structures couldn't contain her.
The Gnostics taught that Sophia is also within you.
The divine spark.

The part of you that recognizes truth when you hear it.
God isn't male.
God isn't female.

But the creative, nurturing, wisdom-giving aspect of the divine?
That's always been her.

And she's still speaking
to anyone willing to listen.

THE 5 THINGS YOU MUST BURN TO BECOME FREE

There is a fire that does not consume the body.
It consumes the prison.

The mystics called it the Inner Flame. The alchemists called it the Secret Fire. The desert saints called it the Dark Night that burns everything false until only the Real remains.
You cannot become free while these five still live inside you. They must be offered to the flame.

1. The Name You Were Given by the World
The identity stitched together from praise, shame, titles, and other people’s hunger. Burn the story of who you were told you are. When the last syllable turns to ash, something older than language begins to speak.

2. The Fear That Pretends to Protect You
Fear is a loyal jailer. It keeps you small so you will never be abandoned. Place it on the altar. Watch it scream as it dies. What remains after fear is not courage. It is the silence that was always there.

3. The Hunger for More Time
The belief that liberation lives in some future version of you. Burn the calendar. Burn the “someday.” Eternity is not later. It is the instant the last illusion of postponement is consumed.

4. The Mirror of Other Eyes
The desperate need to be seen, understood, approved, remembered. Throw the mirror into the fire. When no one is watching, the Self that never needed witnesses steps forward.

5. The Belief That You Are the One Who Must Become Free
This is the final and most subtle chain. The seeker itself. The one who wants enlightenment. Burn even the desire to be free. When the last wisher is gone, Freedom is what is left standing in the ashes.

Do not wait for readiness.
The fire is already burning.
Step into it.

What remains after these five have been offered is not a better version of you.
It is what you were before the first lie was spoken.
