It was fantastic to opportunity to connect and discuss how we can built more GPU-accelerated libraries in Java.
We are glad to announce an accepted research publication that will be presented by our research team at the ACM/SPEC International Conference on Performance Engineering 2026 in early May in Florence, Italy.
The paper introduces TornadoVMPulse, a profiling and visualization tool for TornadoVM that helps developers analyze and optimize Java applications running on GPUs and other accelerators.
TornadoVMPulse has been used for optimizing #GPULlama3, a Java-native Llama3 pipeline, resulting in:
⚡ 38% lower data-transfer cost
⚡ 18.4% faster execution per layer
