A construction challenge this afternoon caused some patient rivalry, as they tried to complete their lego @fairybricks models in the quickest time. This type of activity is not only fun but can help develop fine motor skills and build confidence.
To celebrate International Day of Play and to support the big Play @starlight_uk the play staff and patients made sure lots of staff had to take time out to take part in a playful challenge.
Last week the play team themed activities around Fire Safety, to end the week they had a fantastic visit from Green Watch, Aberdeen Central Fire Station. The families, patients and staff learned lots and had so much fun. Thanks to everyone involved @firescot

Dylan and Alison are delighted to show off a very kind donation of construction toys we received from Younes, who explained he had once been a patient in the hospital and he wanted to donate something back to the service. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.
