🎶 What a fantastic performance! 🎶 The Trombonaires filled the library with music during their engaging program this past Friday. Attendees enjoyed a lively selection of classics, jazz, Broadway, Ragtime, and favorites from the Big Band Era. Thank you to everyone who joined us.
What a beautiful day to spend with neighbors and friends at the library! 🐯 Families joined us for our Hey Neighbor! event on Thursday featuring grrr-iffic stories, activities, and plenty of Daniel Tiger fun. Thank you to everyone who came out to learn, play, and make memories.
In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, we will decorate flowerpots using red, white, and blue paints and stars and plant flower seeds in them to take home.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Memorial Day parade this weekend to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
Rosie & The Rivets have been a Midwest favorite with their exciting retro-themed show featuring a setlist packed with highly danceable classic songs from the mid 1960s to early 2000s. From Aretha Franklin to Amy Winehouse, there is something for everybody!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening reception of “Beautiful Creatures” by Chicago artist Roba Alrafati. Patrons explored expressive oil paintings that reflected quiet moments of connection, emotion, and inner peace. Visit this exhibit at the library until May 31.
Students from Prairie and Liberty Schools visited the Library Board of Trustees meeting Monday night. Students were awarded with tours of the Orland Park Public Library and certificates for winning read-a-thon!

🐝🌿 We had so much fun at Paint and Plant Lavender for Bees on Saturday! Participants painted their own flower pots and planted lavender to help support local pollinators. Thank you to everyone who joined us to create these beautiful bee-friendly mini gardens to take home. 🌸💜
