BREAKING: Jonathan Isaac is returning to Orlando.

After recently being waived by the Magic in a cap-saving move, Isaac is now re-signing with Orlando on a one-year deal, per the Orlando Sentinel.

The Magic moved off Isaac’s previous contract before his $14.5M salary became fully guaranteed, with $8M still owed, but left the door open for a reunion.

JI is back in Orlando.

Free agent center Nikola Vucevic has agreed on a one-year, $3.9 million deal to return to the Orlando Magic, sources tell ESPN. Vucevic -- who started his career in Orlando as a sophomore, spent nearly nine years with the Magic and has maintained a home there since -- turned down more lucrative offers elsewhere to reunite with the franchise.

“He would make good potential trade ballast, but the Magic are facing a cash crunch with Paolo Banchero’s extension kicking in. The expectation is that the Magic will waive Isaac and stretch his $8 million cap hit. Trading him would cost Orlando cap flexibility.”
