When President Obasanjo temporarily removed fuel subsidy in 2003 or thereabout, fuel price climbed from N26 to N42. People grumbled as usual, but did you know his response? That, if Nigerians are willing to buy a bottle of beer for more money, why complain about the cost of fuel?

Labor Congress wasn’t having it. They protested so hard and nearly crashed the economy and Obasanjo grudgingly reinstated fuel subsidy in 2006!

So where did Nigerians learn this culture of suffering and smiling today? How did you go from paying N42 a liter to N1,370 a liter with no pushback?

🚨 UPDATE: Racist Chudder Bob The Builder (Dalton Eatherly) was hit with a $1.25 MILLION bond today after being charged with attempted murder and other felonies for shooting a Black Army veteran outside the Clarksville courthouse.

Eye witness said Chudder Bob had his gun drawn before any physical altercation took place.

The judge cited the seriousness of the charges and public safety concerns in setting the high bond.

Today, the American Freedmen Legal Fund and Freedmen Reparations Fund Trust submitted a formal notice to the Nashville DA and Metro Nashville Police Department regarding documented public harassment, racial escalation, livestream targeting, and related conduct tied to “ChudTheBuilder.”

We have a duty to protect the Freedmen community in Nashville from repeated targeted escalation and intimidation.
