Delta government has taken a very bold step at a diversified economy by moving away from overdependence on crude oil towards a more production inclined economy driven by the private sector.

@DSGovernment Oh yes this is where results meets adequate preparation. I am very much confident delta state ably led by governor sheriff is fiercely ready to diversify by opening up delta state to local and international investors.
@DSGovernment Honestly governor sheriff is spending delta money on delta people, now our primary school teachers will put in more efforts to educate our young children.
@DSGovernment There is no investor that was exposed to this economic summit that will not put their money here, governor sheriff truly engaged them very productively and more of them will be moving their businesses here in no distant time.
After a tour of investment sites across the state today, I received, on a courtesy call, a delegation of investors at Government House, Asaba, this evening.
The team comprised the Malaysian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Aiyub Omar; the leader of the Brazilian agribusiness delegation, Roberto Fonseca; and the President of ApexBrasil, Andrew Muller, among other prospective investors and stakeholders. The sites visited included the Kwale Special Economic Zone, Skyward Resource Group, and the Kwale Gas Gathering Hub.
In the course of our conversation, I thanked the visiting prospective investors and stakeholders for choosing Delta State as an investment destination. I also assured the delegation of our commitment to providing an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
