I really should have seen all those massive red flags back then — starting with the fact that he kept in touch with a woman who was very obviously interested in him, even though he was married. We talked about some pretty intimate things, and a few times I even sent him photos of myself, which he thanked me for. Once, he invited me to stay at the Bellagio in Las Vegas and told me it should be “our little secret.” I felt like a princess!

Oh God, I really should have run for the hills back then. But do you see red flags when you’re wearing rose-colored glasses? Nope. To me, he was the absolute greatest.
