Mama helped me move some picfurs to my tablet so nows I can say a proper Hi to #CatsOfTwitter. I'm Orrie, originally Oreo, but that was too generic for my big purrsonality. You can also call me Orrs. I was born in a park and lived there for 6 years, now I'm an inside boy.
If anyone is so inclined. Trisha is an acquaintance, she manages the apartment complex where these cats were abandoned, and is legit. I have donated. #catsoftwitter ๐โค Trisha's fundraiser for Cat Shack https://t.co/C4HCTQC4VE
Miska: Adoptable 3yr old Female in Wichita, KS | Beauties and Beasts. Shy at first but does well with another kitty to boost her confidence. Loves toys belly rubs playing. Would love a home with a feline friend. https://t.co/YTl7lOuPoJ
@FrankieGoes2Cal Orrie was my other work cat. He was small and wild when I first met him, but was very tame and friendly before I brought him in. He's a big boy, maybe a little bored with indoor life, and usually in trouble.
@FrankieGoes2Cal This is Kitty, who passed a year and a half ago. She was living at my work as part of a colony of 10-12. When they had to be removed, we were down to 5, so I took 2, someone else took the others. She adapted pretty quickly to indoor life - she loved food & being brushed.
@FrankieGoes2Cal I don't have great pictures on this device. This is Chloe, who passed a year ago at 17. She was feral born and caught at 4-5 weeks. Her momcat was turtle and the first cat I TNR'd along with a bunch of others at my apartment complex.
Haven't checked on this account in awhile (busy with political outrage). Thank you so much to @danapixie and @Pawcircle for continuing to hold up Kitty. She passed two weeks ago. 8 mths after her 1st ER visit we ended up back and the ultrasound wasn't good for my old girl. ๐โค
Kitty's walking is getting better each day and she seems to be staying hydrated. Her blood sugar was 109 on Monday about 5 hours after her insulin shot, so we're keeping her on 1 unit. She hates the ear meds. She goes for a recheck on her ears in a few weeks. Thanks all ๐ป
Quick update before bed: Kitty is home, still very wobbly walking - they think vestibular disease related to her ear infection but not drinking and peeing constantly. Follow up with regular vet on diabetes on Mon and ear specialist in a few weeks.
@CBPost_Sharon@GarrowMonique Pug Hugs ๐!! She improved dramatically overnight. Is eating and walking around and interacting. She's still a bit unbalanced - they think maybe an inner ear thing, and they didn't have labs back to check acid levels, but since she's feeling better, my guess is that has improved.
Kitty would like to ask for purrs and paw power. She was diagnosed on Tuesday with diabetes and after a few days on insulin didn't seem to be getting better (lethargic, trouble walking, hanging at water bowl). She's currently at the emergency vet getting IV fluids ...
