Israeli soldiers shot and injured four Palestinians in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, on Sunday during a heavy raid in which soldiers deployed tear gas against residents.

The attack is part of a months-long siege that has left residents unable to reach their homes or workplaces. Israeli settlers have attacked vehicles on the village's only entrance road, damaging more than 20 cars and injuring people with sticks, batons, and stones.

"Every day the village is blocked in the morning and evening," one resident said. "They cannot return. How can people go to their jobs? How can people carry on with their daily lives? I call on all the international press — it's unbelievable that this village is so heavily besieged."
