FWIW, when the American people learned about the murders of the Romanov family, they were horrified. Even though the US wasn't founded as a monarchy, our people understood that the Tsar was the legitimate ruler of Russia and ordained by God to be there. Even Protestants in America understood this at the time. Our country wasn't built on regicide.

Considering that I grew up in the Midwest and am of Southern heritage, I kind of have an allergic reaction to people going gungho for war. Both the South and Midwest have had some of the highest casualty rates of the regions in America. We need to stop sending the flowers of our masculinity to die rather than to build families and society.

"An 11-year-old hunter who was attacked online by a school district employee is turning the entire situation into something positive for other kids. Avery Houk recently posted pictures from a dove hunt, and according to her father, a Mattoon school district employee responded with a comment wishing death on her. The district later confirmed the employee was placed on administrative leave. But instead of letting that be the end of the story, Avery decided to do something pretty incredible with all the attention.

Hundreds of people reached out wanting to donate to Avery, but she said she has already been blessed with more outdoor opportunities than most kids ever get. So she partnered with Wayside Acres Foundation and local outdoor businesses to help other kids instead. The effort is aimed at providing scholarships and support for school trap, archery and fishing teams, along with youth hunting and fishing trips, safety events and other outdoor opportunities. They’re also selling shirts to help raise money for the effort.

Instead of taking the money for herself, this 11-year-old is trying to turn something ugly into a way to get more kids outdoors. Local businesses including Defense Depot and Mike’s Tackle are getting involved, and hopefully a bad situation ends up creating a whole lot of good. That’s about as good of a response to being bullied over hunting as you could possibly ask for. I’ll be getting my shirt now."

According to ancient custom Christians pray formally 7 times a day; as well as all the other times of prayer during ordinary daily activity.

Syrian Christian were using prayer rugs, long before Mohamet was ever thought of.
Christians of the Levant (long before Mohamet) were practicing ritual ablutions (with holy water) before prayer and when entering the temple for Divine Liturgy.

Mohamet simply took Jewish kosher rules, simplified them into Islamic halal rules.

Islamic circumcision practice was simply taken from Jewish practice.

Islamic Haj was taken from Christian pilgrimages to Jerusalem to the tomb of Christ.

Ramadan was copied from Christian Lenten fasting practices.

The function of a Muezzin and Imam and the chanting of koran was taken from Byzantine Christian practice.

Jews had Saturday for Shabbat, Christian had Sunday for the Lord’s Day, so Mohamet decreed Friday as the Muslim day of weekly worship.

The form of mosques was copied from Byzantine basilicas.

The obsession with a “holy book” was adapted from the Christian veneration of the Gospel book. Reading the “book” and memorising it, was adopted as a high value in imitation of Christian practise.

The function of Sharia mirrors Christian canon law.

Many schools of Sufism have liberally borrowed spiritual practices from Christian monasticism, while excising all Christocentric features.

All of the boast of Islamic scholarship, sciences, literature, and philosophy are only the result of Jihad and conquering superior cultures, and co-opting their libraries, scholars, and scientific processes. Think: viruses co-opting cells, or a parasite using a host.
