Incoming T&O ST3 – West of Scotland!
Delighted to accept my top choice in Glasgow and rank 10th nationally 🇬🇧
Grateful to family & mentors for all the support 🙏
Finished all my T&O rotations in ortho-themed CST — all in a busy MTC 💪 Great experience, No.1 SHO, and delighted to win best logbook prize 🏆 Next up: cardiothoracic to finish core training… then hopefully off to life as a T&O Reg 🦴
A well spent 3-day course and an excellent opportunity to connect with Orthopods across different deaneries! Glad to join AO family! #fracture_principles
Wrapped up CT1 in Cardiothoracics – 6 months packed with chest trauma, rib fixations, and critical care. Grateful for the skills, the team, and the adrenaline! Now, back to T&O as CT2.. Time to upskill, refocus, and take the next step toward becoming an Orthopaedic registrar 🦴⚡️
Nicely spent 2 days in BESS 25 presenting 1 oral and 2 poster presentations with the great shoulder team.. Finding myself more and more drawn to shoulders 🦴🙄@TanaghoAndy@ArleneW49850430
1st placement of CST ✅ The most intense T&O job in Ireland and probably one of the top 10 busiest T&O unit in UK. Harsh 6 months but have refined my clinical & non-clinical skills for further career in MSK. Now moving to Cardiothoracics for 6months -> critical care experience🔥
@AleksiReito@GJOrthopaedics Yeah nearly all 1000 patients done in 2 years 2010-2012 with triathlon system at Golden Jubilee hospital had LLR 6 weeks post-operatively to check alignment (Apart from routine knee XR post mobility).
Presenting my research year project which was @GJOrthopaedics at summer SCOT meeting 🏴. What a lovely chance meeting my previous mentors and colleagues. #knee#CPAK#BJJ
@AleksiReito@GJOrthopaedics The full text is still in peer review process with BJJ. Once published I will share a link here. However, for now you can read the abstract here; (first page) https://t.co/QCAC6uGYQp
What a fab day!! Recovering memories with the boss who I owe much of gratitude. From new vaguely oriented Dr to Mr with ortho core surgical training. Hard to start saying Goodbye to Scotland but sure will be back somewhen in my career. #orthopods#best_boss#shoulder_guru
I was so pleased to see how people are interested in sustainability and was thrilled to be one of the interviewed speaker to share the Golden Jubilee experience @GJOrthopaedics for implementing lean methodology today at @NHSScotEvents @NHSScotCfSD@NHSScotAcademy
