I criss-crossed the borough for #RemembranceSunday - I saw folk in Fobbing, Grays and Chafford keep the memories of hero’s alive. The mayors office has supported 14 such events. Thanks to the cadets, churches, and many community groups who maintain this united & patriotic society

Under our partnership work with @SaferEssexRoads, we've teamed up with travelling drama company The Riot Act, who deliver plays to secondary schools about vital road safety messages. So far, they've visited Year 7's at @theHARIacademy @OrtuGableHall @thames_park & @williameds_sch

Starting on Monday 16th November, we will be running the Reverse Advent Calendar for donations for Thurrock Food Bank to help those less fortunate that are struggling at Christmas time.

This campaign will run until Monday 14th December.
