🧵 #KyleBradish is a guy I’m excited to see pitch in 2023. Specifically, how his pitch mix changes. This is his mix for the year & then the last month. The Sinker stands out as this pitch was new & played well for him...

@austin_koehn At a fundamental level, the front office has a lot of say. They have plans for how many games guys will rest, how many games they will play certain positions vs others, games adley catches vs dh. All of these directly affect the day to day lineup
@MattWinter05 Partly. For me it’s more about the last 2 postseasons. I’m not a pessimist though. I believe we’ll be back in the playoffs this year. I’m just at the point where I’m ready for a playoff run. March to September is just eh
There was no ‘splash’ signing/trade (so far). Be upset about that if you’d like. But this O’s team is incredibly deep. Lots of quality vets on the bench & young talent waiting. They won’t all meet expectations, but there’s no way they all DON’T either. And that’s the point
@FoolishBB Cmon now. You know better. This ‘source’ calls the owners naive and not knowing what they’re getting into. Elias ‘in over his head’. Hyde a ‘puppet’. Pretty clearly a former employee who hates the Orioles as a whole
This source is pretty obviously a disgruntled former employee. There’s nobody that’s close to equal footing as the GM? Duh. The owner will defer to the GM? Ok??? We could’ve traded for Soto? We got the best pitcher in baseball instead. This is silly
SOURCE: Orioles GM Mike Elias refuses to spend money despite green light from owner David Rubenstein.
