My voice agent took six seconds to answer a question.

I blamed the model. I was wrong, and the real answer was embarrassing.

This is the second time I have been wrong about my own bottleneck. On an earlier agent I was certain it was the LLM. It came out third slowest at 0.77s while speech to text finalization sat at 1.90s.

@thoratomkar1 Interested. Built a multi-agent financial QA system, 84/96 on a blind eval. Interesting part was the failure: LLM-first router overfit to my practice set. Restructured into confidence tiers, regex before model, fresh-book score jumped. Deterministic first, model for fuzzy work.
