At #CPHIA2023 I spoke about the importance of women’s representation in leadership positions in #Africa and globally. Women play a critical role in all stages of life to ensure the #health of our populations and carry the burden of most of the unpaid care and domestic work.
On the margins of the #CPHIA2023; @AfricaCDC officially launched Vaccine Manufacturing and Research and Development Competency Frameworks. The Frameworks mark an important step in @AfricaCDC’s vision to develop and nurture a human capital, key component to a strong and viable #AfricanVaccineManufacturing.
Key components of the Frameworks are:
- Training needs assessments across manufacturers and R&D centers
- Development of foundational and specialized training curricula for manufacturers and researchers.
