Whenever he answered, the reply was always:

“I’m driving, I’ll call you back.”

He never did.

It's been two years now and Abiola learned one lesson:

People can open a door for you, but never hand them the keys to your future.

Abiola finished university and was quietly building his life.

NYSC wasn’t even his next plan until his mum introduced him to a family friend who promised to sponsor his service, get him a good PPA, and help him secure a job after.

The same person who gave him hope suddenly became unreachable.

For the next 12 months of service, Abiola had to figure everything out alone in a city he barely knew.

Even after NYSC, he still checked up on him.

A week ago, an 11 year old boy was brought in to our children's clinic and specifically to my consulting room, the parents complained that their child can't hold urine (urinary incontinence), and that was the only complaint, nothing more except for child's inadequate intake of water or doesn't like drinking water that much. Upon further evaluation, he was assessed to have urinary tract infection and likely BLADDER STONE.

An abdominopelvic ultrasound scan was requested, which revealed a finding in keeping with BLADDER STONE, and I referred him to Urology Clinic. Yesterday, the child had a surgery done by a specialist (urologist) for the removal of the BLADDER STONE.

Below is the STONE that was removed via surgery from the boy.
