今年4月、輸入カーペットを専門に扱う〈Oshima_Pros〉の企画により、富山県射水市にある古民家をリノベーションしたスペース「House of zutto」で行われたライブ録音作品『Carpet & Sound Rec Vol.3』を〈Kankyō Records〉よりリリースします。演奏は、東京を拠点に活動する音楽家 Okada Takuro。本作には、約30分におよぶ即興演奏を収めた2曲が収録されています。

“CARPET & SOUND” は、その名の通りカーペットと音楽を結びつけたリスニング・イベントとして���2024年より〈Oshima_Pros〉と〈Kankyō Records〉が共同で開催してきたシリーズです。録音の舞台「House of zutto」の床には〈Oshima_Pros〉のカーペットが敷かれ、吹き抜けの高い天井から柔らかな光が差し込む穏やかな空間が広がっています。

A面に収録された演奏は、呼吸するように現れては消えるギターの有機的な響きと、その奥で静かに響くドローンが空間を支えながら、スケッチのように音を描いていきます。やがて、鐘の響きや小さな音が背景から立ち上がり、音楽は静寂と緊張感のあわいを漂いながら即興的に変化していく音の形。水流のように流れるギターの音色は、ゆっくりと身体や空間に溶け込み、時間の感覚さえ忘れさせながら、やがて静寂に潜んでいた音が泡のように浮かび上がり、豊かな音のタペストリーを紡ぎだしていきます。

B面では、砂漠の蜃気楼のような幻想的な響きと静謐な余韻が広がり、異国情緒の夜を思わせる音色から、洞窟の中で響くような実験的で原始的な音色へと展開。その音の流れは、一筋の線を描くように形を変え、実験的な即興が折り重なりながら、土の中で芽吹きを待つような静けさから、春の開花を思わせる鮮やかで親密な音色へと移ろっていきます。

即興と有機的な循環が、神秘的かつ親密に融合された本作は、空間と即興演奏が織りなす響きを収めた特別な記録となっています。[GRRRDEN]

This April, Kankyō Records will release Carpet & Sound Rec Vol.3, a live recording captured at House of zutto, a renovated traditional home in Imizu, Toyama. The event was organized by Oshima_Pros, a company specializing in imported carpets, and features a performance by Tokyo-based musician Okada Takuro. The album presents two extended improvisations, each unfolding over roughly thirty minutes.
Launched in 2024, the Carpet & Sound series is a collaborative project between Oshima_Pros and Kankyō Records that pairs carpets and music in intimate listening settings. For this recording, House of zutto was transformed with Oshima_Pros’ carpets spread across the floor, while soft light filtered in through the high atrium ceiling, creating a calm and resonant atmosphere.
The piece on Side A drifts like a sketch in sound: organic guitar tones surface and fade like breath, underpinned by a quiet drone that anchors the room. Bells and small percussive textures emerge from the background, adding depth to a performance that moves between silence and tension. The guitar flows like water, gradually dissolving into both body and space, until subtle sounds rise from the quiet like bubbles, weaving a richly textured sonic tapestry.
Side B opens into a dreamlike mirage, its resonant tones evoking the stillness of an exotic night before shifting into raw, cave-like experimental timbres. The music traces a fine line of transformation—layers of improvisation overlap and evolve, moving from subterranean stillness, as if awaiting germination, toward vivid, intimate sounds that recall the blossoming of spring.
Merging improvisation with an organic sense of circulation, Carpet & Sound Rec Vol.3 is both mystical and intimate—a rare document of space and performance woven together in sound.[GRRRDEN]

Sai Sei Sei 2025 – GREEN WISE × Kankyō Records × ADAM Audio

都市と自然の関係を問い直し、未来へとつながる “リジェネラティブ＝再生成” な環境と文化を考える都市型フェスティバル 〈Sai Sei Sei 2025〉 を開催します。

〈Sai Sei Sei 2025〉 は、会場となるGREEN WISEの植物温室を舞台に、音楽、アート、トーク、そして食を通じて、 “リジェネラティブ＝再生成” な体験を楽しむ、総合的な都市型フェスティバルです。様々な環境共生事業を展開する〈GREEN WISE〉と、住環境での音楽体験を追求する〈Kankyō Records〉のコラボレーションによって誕生しました。

出演アーティストは、Visible CloaksのSpencer Doranが新たに始動したプロジェクト〈コンポニウム・アンサンブル〉や、Yoshio Ojima ＋ Satsuki Shibano、Carl Stone、INOYAMA LAND、Sonic Mind（Yumiko Morioka & James Greer）、Sugai Ken、Chihei Hatakeyama、Tomoyoshi Dateなど、国内外のアンビエント・エクスペリメンタルミュージックの重要アーティストたちです。

そして、このフェスティバルを象徴するような新しい音楽体験の試みとして、人間と自然の環境共生をコンセプトに数人のアーティストたちが即興演奏で空間を作る、回遊型特別ライブセッション〈Sai Sei Sei Live Installation〉が両日行われます。会場全体の音響はベルリンのスピーカーブランド〈ADAM Audio〉によるサウンドシステムを導入し、超高解像度な音楽体験を提供。

そのほか、〈GREEN WISE〉によるアートインスタレーションや、自然、生きもの、地域がつながる循環型レストラン〈Maruta〉プロデュースによるフード＆ドリンク、高品質な輸入カーペットを取り扱う〈Oshima Pros〉による手触りの良いカーペットなど、人間の様々な感覚が呼び起こされるような、まったく新しいタイプのフェスティバル体験をどうぞお楽しみください。
