๐บ๐ธ ๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ท The US has quietly deployed 82nd Airborne paratroopers to Israel, deployment order leaked
The deployment is tied to new US-Israel joint contingency plans for seizing Kharg Island and carving out coastal territory inside Iran.
In late March, the New York Times reported that senior military officials were โweighing a possible deployment of a combat brigade from the Armyโs 82nd Airborne Division โฆ to support U.S. military operations in Iran.โ The forces would come from the divisionโs Immediate Response Force โ a brigade of roughly 3,000 soldiers able to deploy anywhere in the world within 18 hours. Those forces, the Times noted, โcould be used to seize Kharg Island, Iranโs main oil export hub.โ
The groundwork had been laid weeks earlier. The Army abruptly pulled the divisionโs 300-member headquarters from a planned exercise at the Joint Readiness Training Center in Louisiana, officials told the Times, so the command element wouldnโt be โcaught out of place if the balloon went up.โ The Aviationist reported that the divisionโs commander, Maj. Gen. Brandon Tegtmeier, and his command element had been ordered to deploy, and tracked a string of flights leaving Pope Army Airfield, which serves Fort Bragg, for the Middle East.
So why the sensitivity about naming Israel, when the U.S. has acknowledged stationing American air defenses and F-22 fighters there? First, the breadth and depth of U.S.-Israeli military cooperation goes far beyond arms sales and โdeconfliction.โ Second, the two countries are deepening intelligence sharing aimed at making Israel a sixth โeyeโ in the so-called Five Eyes alliance of the U.S., Canada, Great Britain, Australia, and New Zealand. Third, naming Israel would expose how much of the U.S. assault on Iran is in fact a joint U.S.-Israeli attack โ not a Trump-Netanyahu brotherhood, but cooperation at the military-to-military working level, where combined war plans are now reality.

๐ซ๐ท๐จ๐พ FRANCE and CYPRUS will sign a defense pact allowing the deployment of French troops on the island
The agreement โwill provide for the presence of French forces on Cypriot territory, strictly for humanitarian purposes,โ according to Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides.
The agreement has stirred controversy since plans for it were announced in April by Christodoulides during a visit by French President Emmanuel Macron to the island.
The Turkish Cypriot administration declared the agreement null and void soon after it was announced and expressed concerns that it could alter the balance of power on the island, disregard the rights of the Turkish Cypriots and create tensions. The Turkish Cypriot administration also argued that the Republic of Cyprus lacks the authority to sign such an agreement on behalf of the island as a whole.

๐บ๐ธ DECLASSIFIED CIA files confirm that during the Cold War, they had a global propaganda network that included more than 800 media outlets and thousands of journalists, many of whom were undercover agents in disguise.
In an article published in 1977, it was revealed that more than 400 U.S. journalists were in fact agents who had secretly carried out missions for the CIA, including members of such "respected" publications as The New York Times and Time magazine.
The CIA used money from drug trafficking and arms sales to buy off media outlets, often achieving total control over the news disseminated in international media.
