Just realized my phone was on airplane mode, hence why my tweets would not send.

Just hanging out at the Olympia City Hall waiting for the town hall meeting to begin! This will be new to me since I'm used to smaller-town meetings. #com303live

The board moves on to other policy topics. At this point I exit with the transportation organization members, leaving about 3 people left in the public seating section. Each public council meeting is aired for watching without physically attending.

A good attention-getter for the poster's channel; no headline necessary #com303

Journalism can either inform or misinform; both functions can be equally catalyzing, regardless of intent.

-Very interesting
-Not necessarily super important
-But an informative read; learned something about the power of technology

Pres. Barack Obama: "If I tweet or hashtag about how you didn't do something right, or used the wrong verb, then I can sit back and feel pretty good about myself, 'cause man, did you see how woke I was? I called you out... That's not activism. That's not bringing about change."

A good example of a story made interesting by making it about the people, as demonstrated in our book -- "People, doing something, for a reason." The interview provides a compelling character, and the actions are the focus and not the decorations. #com303

Maybe clickbait isn't the best term here; it's more of just a matter of titling an article in a way that makes you want to read it. I think clickbait is more associated with just trying to get reads regardless of article quality.

A good example of opening with a surprising quote. An otherwise mundane-sounding topic has a better chance of being read. It seems that clickbait is employed even in well-executed journalism. #com303

The way this headline is written and how it interacts with the photo is striking. I think it's because the writer's voice comes through so clearly. It alludes to disapproval, implies that complications were caused, and expresses flat-out disbelief all in just a few words. #com303
