The meeting also advanced plans for a new Hospital Management System at Dr. Sumait Hospital to support digital transformation and improved healthcare delivery.

SIMAD University’s Development Board held its first meeting of 2026, chaired by the Deputy Rector for Planning & Development, Dr. Amina Sheikh Omar.

The Board approved the Institutional Development Portfolio Management System, enabling departments to submit annual plans and strengthening planning, monitoring, and reporting processes.

Monthly departmental reports were also reviewed, highlighting strong momentum and a promising start to 2026.
