Yesterday, I ordered the immediate reclamation of trespassed portions of the 82-hectare property acquired for the Ibom Tropicana Entertainment Centre to complete its moribund and uncompleted parts. During my inspection of the theme park, the 14-story Tropicana Hotel building, and the 5000-capacity conference facility.

I reaffirmed my commitment to addressing critical infrastructure with the potential to grow our state's economy. This initiative is part of my resolve to complete uncompleted projects from previous administrations, ensuring they fulfill their intended purpose.

It aligns with our ARISE Agenda, focusing on infrastructure development and tourism enhancement to boost economic growth and create job opportunities for our people.

Yesterday I renamed Akwa Ibom State's 21-storey smart building, previously known as Dakkada Towers, to Udom Emmanuel Towers. This gesture recognizes Mr. Udom Emmanuel's remarkable accomplishments during his tenure as governor.

During a Special Thanksgiving Service and Book Presentation marking my first anniversary in office, I lauded Mr. Emmanuel's visionary projects, including the expansion of the International Airport Road, the creation of the massive worship center, and the construction of the 21-story smart tower, the tallest building in the region.

As it is written in 1 Samuel 7:12, "Thus far the Lord has helped us." This renaming reflects our gratitude and acknowledgment of the good works done in Akwa Ibom under his leadership. God bless Akwa Ibom state.
