People always say, “Be consistent.” “Consistency is King.” But it’s not news to you. You’re smart enough to know that much.
The real struggle is being consistent with the things that matter.
What are the things in our way? How do we go from knowing the ideal situation to living it out?
Find out how to make consistent progress with anything.👇
One’s interpretation of reality or the human experience is highly subjective. It depends on a variety of factors, but perhaps one thing that shapes it the most is our beliefs.
What we believe about life, human behavior, and social situations influences how we respond to them.
It takes a level of self-awareness and humility to be receptive to challenging our beliefs. To say “this is my experience, but I'd like to know and see what else is possible”.
It's a struggle even where you're aware of your dispositions. However, this posture allows you to strengthen, uproot, or expand existing beliefs.
We have all that we need to be 1% better today, and repeat tomorrow.
We just dislike the idea of starting small, asking for help, looking scrappy, and enduring the hard things.
We want the posh appearance, the expensive gear, the mainstream mentors, and the huge capital.
We love pointing to all that we lack. But I've come to learn that even at our humblest points, we can underutilize what we have because it doesn't fit what we've imagined.

I heard Myron Golden say something, and it stuck with me. He said (paraphrasing), "Your work begins to work in you before it starts to work for you."
So, do you like who you're becoming?
Work is essentially taking responsibility and serving others. That's what brings fulfillment, not necessarily the results/reward. It's who you become in the process.
Because it’s only a matter of time before your growth becomes significant and tangible, but if you don't like who you become, was it worth it?
One thing that's consistent about the most successful humans to have ever walked the planet isn't skill, family connections, talent, or even the courage to try new things.
It's a strong sense of resilience that demands results marked by the ability to get back up again after a failure, distraction, disappointment, hurt, or just a loooong day that felt like it would never end.
I’m a big believer in dreaming and journeying with faith.
Our dreams won't always seem realistic or achievable, and we can’t always speculate exactly when we’ll achieve them.
Your dreams or goals won’t always seem realistic or sensible to others. And while you should work to create a sustainable plan or system to power your dream, move with faith.

Sometimes, God places things in our hearts that we can’t imagine pulling off, but still we push forward with the utmost confidence, trusting that everything will work together for good.
