WHAT IS @10DowningStreet SCARED OF?

Today the Chancellor makes his next big support scheme announcement. MSE & I've been explaining these for 10wks, with millions following our journalism

And again No10's just said "No, you CAN'T ask Q at the press conference"

@RishiSunak @UKParliament 2/2 can you offer self employed a reduced % until October in line with furlough? When we do our self assessment tax any profits over the 3 year average for those months can be claimed back in tax.

[Liz Beckett @OsteoLiz]

@RishiSunak @UKParliament 1/2 Are you going to extend the self employed scheme in line with furlough scheme? I am self employed in private healthcare, next week I return to work in line with GOsC guidelines. Our income is still hugely impacted, our clinics maybe open but people are scared to come.

[Martin Lewis @MartinSLewis]

Dear @RishiSunak many self employed rightly worried that tho furlough runs to Oct, their income support scheme period only covers 12 more days.

Surely a govt that promotes itself as pro-entrepreneurship must extend the coverage. If not 10,000 or 100,000s small biz will fall.

@MartinSLewis Thankfully the offending tweet has gone. Thank you both so much for making the live shows happen. They are invaluable to people like myself. 👏👏

@MartinSLewis There has to be one! Please please know that most of the population are extremely grateful. You have un-tangled the jargon and shown us how this CAN work for the majority. Thank you

@MartinSLewis If we qualify for the SE grant, can we still claim UC? Would the UC have to be repaid?

@linda_oakham We will all have a big family get together and giant hug when we are allowed ❤❤
