Most BTC yield products start with the same request:
Just bridge your Bitcoin first.
That’s usually where serious holders stop listening.
@primelayerhq noticed this, and built govBTC instead.

New Odin Fun Release!
We just rolled out some much needed updates to Odin Fun. Here they are:
1. Built-in announcements feature.
As we've been building Odin Fun and talking with our community we realized that not everyone that uses Odin Fun is on Twitter, Telegram, or Discord. So lots of our users don't see updates without other communication channels.
Well the announcements feature fixes this. Now we can publish important information and it will reach all of our users instantly.
When a new announcement is posted you will be notified with a little red notification dot on the announcements icon.
This announcements release dovetails with our focus on communities as well, and soon you will be able to create communities and publish your own announcements directly within Odin Fun (part of the Community Fees implementation that is in-audit right now).
2. Support Directly Through Odin Fun.
Only a handful of Odin Fun users use Discord (where we have been handling tickets), and many of our users are new to Discord and get scammed by fake discord account DMs.
So we built support directly into Odin Fun. Now you can submit tickets, view tickets, reply to tickets, and manage your tickets directly in Odin Fun.
This will prevent people from getting scammed in Discord, give Odin Fun developers more insight into tickets being created and managed, and help us manage our tickets more effectively (still some work for us to do here to catch up on our backlog).
So moving forward, please submit all of your tickets directly through Odin Fun for better tracking, managing, resolving, etc.
3. Roadmap Voting.
We've been spending a lot of time listening to our users, which is great! But because we are DMing users across many platforms, we can't always connect users to their activity in Odin Fun, so sometimes it is hard to know what our Odin Fun power users want.
With the "Roadmap" feature, now users get votes based on how active they have been in the Odin Fun platform. The more volume you've done in the platform the more votes you get to allocate.
This will give us greater insight into what our users want in the platform, and will help us determine our near term and long term roadmap.
Over the long term, this setup will allow us to eventually progressively decentralize governance in Odin Fun and move toward a community governance model.
I hope you enjoy the new features!
Note: notice that these features did not require smart contract upgrades, so they were faster to build. We have a lot of updates coming on the smart contract side, but we're still finalizing the audits for those features. Community fees, staking / locking LP / yield farming, etc.
Hello everyone! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
🎄⭐️🌴✨🎅
My family has all been really sick the last 2 weeks so I've been MIA online, but everyone is finally better so I'm back!
A few updates:
1. We never stop building! We've made some decent progress over the holidays.
2. Infra: We're almost ready for some things on the infra side (that you probably won't appreciate as much, like web sockets, API optimizations, etc). All of this should go out in the coming weeks.
3. Staking: Staking/lock LP smart contract is almost finished. We have automated tests and unit tests for the code. Just tidying up a few things before we start testing on dev next week. Then we'll need to get an audit, make adjustments as needed, and then we can push to prod. Still weeks out.
4. Communities: We finished the audit on our latest set of Odin smart contract changes. Lots of good fixes that we've been wanting to get out for a while now. Community fees (a portion of user fees will go to the communities that they choose), a liquidity fee on all external tokens to help bootstrap liquidity for lower liquidity tokens (aka legacy runes), and a bunch of other nice to have fixes.
5. Perps: Behind the scenes we've had an engineer working on a Bitcoin-backed perps product. This will fit into Odin Fun nicely as a way to long or short Bitcoin within Odin Fun using Bitcoin as collateral. TONS of work has been done here and we're making good progress. This is a big deal because you will be able to use your Bitcoin in Odin Fun as collateral to directly make short and longs on Bitcoin itself. We will also support private positions (also known as dark pools) so that you can't get hunted and liquidated by whales. Lots of good things coming here.
The vision for Odin Fun hasn't changed. We're building the world's greatest Bitcoin super app: DeFi, communities, yield, staking, and much much more. Thanks for joining us in the journey!

Jose highlights the bizarre valuation gap in crypto.
"The less you have trust in that, the more discounted these cash flows trade. Which is why you have this phenomenon where crypto has both the most overvalued assets in the world and some of the cheapest on a multiples basis."
Nic believes a quantum break for Bitcoin is more likely than most think.
"Think the probability of a quantum break for Bitcoin is around 70 to 80% by 2035. Maybe higher. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been deployed with this belief in mind."
