Disability Is Not a Public Spectacle.
Why do some people behave as though seeing a person with a disability is an unexpected event?
Someone using a wheelchair🧑🦽🧑🦼, walking with crutches🩼, having a visible physical difference or living with any other form of disability🧑🦯 shouldn't become the centre of attraction everywhere they go.
We are not exhibitions. We are human beings going about our daily lives.
You can notice someone without staring, ask questions without being insensitive, and show curiosity without making someone uncomfortable.
Disability is part of human diversity, not a public performance.
We all need to learn, Relearn 👌
