The amount of people that misunderstand the Cardano play.
Ok, consider this. Right now, few people actually use the Cardano (or any) blockchain. But its still very early. Cardano isnt going to compete with say Solana as a trading website.
Cardano Devs need to develop d'apps normies will use. And they will. Eventually.
So really, all the chain needs is to stay relevant over the decade. Over that time, more d'apps will be built and more normies will start to use blockchain - especially when it becomes better integrated and user friendly.
Once all ADA is circulating, and the inflation is zero, the trading fees will generate a real yield.
So the play in the meantime is stake, compound, accumulate. The more you accumulate from the total supply will be your "ownership" share of the network, and thus you'll earn the transaction fees based on that amount -> a real yield.
All Cardano has to do is...
1. Stay relevant
2. Devs build [mainstream] useful d'apps.
3. Normies come with these are user-friendly.
Its a decade gamble.
Being mad the price is down today is short sighted. Of course its down, the whole industry market is down, and nobody is using the product because its too hard for normies and theres nothing here that interests them. Thats normal, the industry is new. It takes years for stuff like this to become something. Netflix, Amazon, Facebook, etc... these also took years to be fruitful.
Just chill.

@MrWhale Show your math...
Lol yall just be randomly calling out arbitrary numbers.
62% BTC goes up 1$ on June 3rd at 9:42pm EST but only if its rains in Boston.
I dont understand why everyone is freaking out. BTC is behaving exactly as it always does in a 4-year cycle.
It goes down, retest the 200-W MA, bottom sometime between July and October.
Even if the American Reserve Modernization Act doesnt pass, thats enough to generate a hype narrative. Well be back at ATHs in 2027.
Its amazing, every single cycle the behaviour of traders is always the same. We get a little pump, and everyone gets over excited. Once they give up, then we run. Happens every time.
