Years and I’m shocked how bad the severe areas are. Big dead circles in the beans and corn fired over the ear. This will not recover.
@Frye_WSS@NebGradDubDub Large areas were way too wet early , followed by drought and very extreme heat. Always the worst scenario historically. This tracks with his post.
@Bkitch1Bodie 2 weeks of a strong southwest southern wind blowing out of the Texas region with perfect temp and humidity…. The same as every historic southern rust event.
Quick follow up on the ROI trial with only 30 lbs of N applied to no till corn on corn. Nitrogen definitely masks mistakes, but really how low can we go on the Zones 4 & 5’s if stress is mitigated and we have good planting conditions?
@Cropwise1 The one that yields more. And in this case I believe they are near identical on yield … as it appears to be 70-27 and 68-35. But that’s just my guess!
