@LaurenThemself Last time I had a big surgery I found that while I couldn’t read, I could enjoy graphic novels and comic books, having the visuals helped a lot. But yeah, it’s amazing how much brain power healing takes. Go easy and take the entertainment in whatever form suits best.

I had burgers with my Grandmother yesterday and after taking a bite she exclaimed in complete surprise that it was really very good and so I discovered that in her 86 years she had never tried a burger.

The answer appears to be “go to new GP and include it on your new patient form” which resulted in them looking it up before I arrived and being like “oh by the way never encountered that condition before, not surprised given the rarity. Thanks it was good to know.” Victory!

How does one go about getting “Diagnosed” with a super rare genetic condition when every doctor they ever encounter asks “So wait, what’s the condition called?” Or literally laughs and will not believe you that it’s inherited.

@LaurenThemself Wait! 25! I forgot Raltu is a cleric!!! Confused Kobold buddy may have had some issues with deity identification and had 0 clue what he was doing at any given moment but he got there in the end.
