@DrEmmaBeckett I was under the impression that adding a little oil/fat to your veggies helped boost the nutritional absorption anyway 😁 plus a little sprinkle of salt on fresh steamed greens! Ooft! Delicious!

@DrEmmaBeckett Highly recommend cauliflower in those packet butter chickens actually. Steamed (even in microwave) and tossed through for the last 5 or so to soak up a little flavour. It’s got a good texture and holds the sauce well. Stretches out the meal for less meat and more portions.

@DrEmmaBeckett My partner always complains about it but I’ll add peas to just about any quick ready meal 😂 personally, food that’s just meat and sauce isn’t enough for me, but he is satisfied- I love adding veggies.

Do you know what’s worse than having a baby that won’t sleep and just screams hysterically all day? The fucking condescending tone of all the articles you desperately read.
Yes I HAVE tried putting him down “sleepy but awake” and watched for wake windows and shushed and patted.

I think the worst part of my baby waking at 2:30am for a feed is I known he’s going to wake up at least 2 more times now :(

@theliverdoc My partner and I used to drink heavily in our early 20s, then he found out he had haemochromatosis and quit for 5 years.
Now we would maybe drink once a month if that- we are much happier and healthier (physically and mentally) without constant alcohol exposure.

They took the oxygen off last night! He’s perked up so much :)
He’s able to latch still so we won’t have to give up breastfeeding thank goodness..
Super gassy and constipated from it all, and has def lost more weight :(

Whelp he managed to cough out the NGT and they reinserted it too far and had to pull it.
They’ll probably put a third in tomorrow :( it’s very traumatic on him.

Every time we think he’s getting past it, he gets worse.. thankfully the virus is starting to settle, just all the side effects of treatment and congestion to deal with. NG tube back in for decompression.

@trai_all Yeah I’m staying overnight with him both nights they think he will be there which is good.

My little baby has RSV. He’s been so sick the last 2 days.
There’s literally nothing I can do, the hospital keep sending us home saying come back if it’s worse, but then telling me it’s not that bad.
He’s lost his voice, increased work of breath. He’s struggling so much 😫
