After Raila Odinga’s death, Kenya witnessed a moment of truth that exposed the raw nerves of power, fear, and manipulation. Uhuru Kenyatta rose from silence and became the voice of unity that Kenya desperately needed. His calm, commanding presence at Raila’s funeral brought the country together. And that single act shook William Ruto to his core.
At NYAYO STADIUM, Uhuru did not just mourn Raila he revived the spirit of national conscience. The crowd’s thunderous cheers were not for a politician but for a man who had earned love through dignity. In contrast, Ruto stood isolated, ignored, and unwanted a president without presence, a leader without legitimacy.
At BONDO KANGO KA JARAMOGI, Ruto tried to ride on Uhuru’s goodwill, forcing himself into the moment. The Master of Ceremony cleverly mentioned Uhuru first to spark the crowd’s cheers, then quickly switched to Ruto to hide him in Uhuru’s applause. It was a staged moment a political disguise meant to dilute Uhuru’s dominance. But the people saw through it.
Raila’s funeral became Uhuru’s rebirth. It was not just a farewell to a freedom fighter; it was the silent inauguration of a new moral authority. Uhuru emerged as the unifying symbol, the voice of reason, and the man capable of bringing the nation together again something Ruto’s government fears more than any election.
Governor Kahiga’s speech, disguised as peace, was a calculated move. The clean face of Ruto’s dirty strategy meant to soften Raila’s supporters and test how far Uhuru’s influence could reach. It was not unity they sought, but control.
Behind the scenes, Ruto’s digital mercenary, Dennis Itumbi, is preparing to twist emotions into propaganda. His videos won’t heal; they will manipulate. Because this government thrives in confusion, division, and hate. It is easier to rule a broken nation than a united one.
Gladys Wanga’s recent theatrics prove this point. Instead of isolating divisive rhetoric, she weaponized it for her own political gain. She’s unknowingly playing into Ruto’s strategy to turn Luo politics against itself, to make ODM bleed from within.
And while all this unfolds, Ruto’s administration is doing everything possible to “behead” Uhuru politically. Not through arrest or violence, but through systematic discrediting using propaganda to kill his credibility and stop his rise as a national unifier. But the irony is clear: every attempt to weaken Uhuru only strengthens his moral power.
This is how Ruto’s system works: it arms ODM insiders with propaganda, fuels tribal suspicion, and manufactures division all to keep the opposition chaotic, distracted, and divided. Ruto knows unity is the one thing that can destroy him.
So, he plays the tribe card. He engineers hate. He manipulates narratives. Because when Kenyans unite, he loses control.
The warning is simple: if their desperate schemes fail, expect more chaos, more “accidents,” more distractions. That is how fear-driven regimes survive by making sure citizens are always fighting each other instead of fighting for the truth.
Uhuru’s unity terrifies Ruto. Raila’s legacy haunts him. And the day Kenyans realize that tribalism is the last weapon holding us hostage, Ruto’s empire will crumble under the weight of its own lies.
Because in the end, power built on propaganda will always fall before truth built on unity.
My problem with self help books is those who read them, read to be exactly like the personas in the writing. Despite the fact that the circimstantial application defers in so many ways.
David greene in 48 laws of power says destroy your enemy completely,Owinos enemy is his collegue Mutisya, who snitched on him because he reports late to work but register says he came early,Owino takes the wordings literally and is now looking for ways to get mutisya fired. To destroy mutisya completely
David cooper in his book unplugged alpha says dont approach women, get fit,get your money, and they will approach you,You’re the prize. Its been 2 years since Thiong’o from syokimau had sex,he is the prize.
Machiaveli in the prince gives advice like
• Better to be feared than to be loved- Now despite the context of this being about Kingdom,Charlo from ngong will start beating up his children Thoroughly, even his wife. The need to fear him ala!
• End justifys the means
•Use cruelty wisely
• Appear virtuous,even when you’re not
Now all these will be used by clueless Mutinas,to justify their actions because ’thats just how it is’
The truth is,This is life. There is absolutely nobody who has a manual on how what should be done, including Rollo Tomassi who says your wife is guaranteed to leave you if she gets more money than you,ati hypergemy. But haven’t we had CEOs wives getting kunorwod by gardeners and watchmen?
