Kyambogo Universuty is the leading institution in providing education to people who are differently abled. To ease transport @kyambogou . The university procured these vehicles to facilitate mobility of the affected students. We shall leave no one behind as we provide equitable education. The students have appreciated this initiative. Be blessed.
I love that @KCCAUG no longer works alone in communities. They now work with residents, creating awareness and a sense of responsibility.
When you clean your area, you realize that littering only creates more work for yourself.

Former Assistant Inspector General of Police, Fred Yiga, addressing delegates under the powerful theme “From Leadership to Legacy: Continuing the URCS Mission Beyond Term Limits.”
During his speech, he shared his personal life journey, he did more than recount achievements. He demonstrated:
✅️Resilience through challenges
✅️Commitment to service beyond position
✅️Leadership grounded in purpose
✅️The importance of building systems that outlive individuals
His message strongly aligns with the core values of the Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS).
The message of legacy beyond term limits is powerful in humanitarian work. It reminds leaders that:
Leadership is temporary.
↪️Impact is permanent.
↪️Institutions must be strengthened, not personalized.
↪️True service continues even after titles end.

Kampala at a Crossroads: What New Research Reveals About Mobility, Governance, and the City’s Public Health Risks
Gridlock, boda-bodas, polluted air, and unsafe streets are part of everyday life in Kampala, but new research suggests these are not just transport problems. Researchers at @Makerere University School of Public Health are examining how governance, policy choices, and power shape urban mobility and, in turn, public health outcomes in the city.
Through a multi-country study spanning Kampala, Kigali, and Lilongwe, the research reveals why some transport options are prioritised while others are neglected, and how these decisions affect safety, equity, and wellbeing. As Kampala grows rapidly, the findings raise urgent questions about whose interests current mobility systems serve, and at what cost.
