My apologies and sympathy to Hon. @MarthaKarua for being deported from Uganda. At least now, going forward, you can appreciate Kenya as a good country where you can say anything against President WsR and nothing happens to you. You can even be a brand ambassador for the Kenya Kwanza Government.
During Uhuru Kenyatta’s regime, bodies were retrieved from River Yala under the CS Interior, Fred Matiang’i.
Atleast @WilliamsRuto can condone bad manners
Kenya and Japan have signed a new KSh22.1 billion financial facility to accelerate the growth of Kenya’s vehicle sector with the support of Japan’s Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI).
This milestone is a direct outcome of our State Visit to Japan in 2024 and our participation in the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) in 2025.
As we continue to diversify our sources of financing, we remain committed to building partnerships with nations that engage with us as equals, founded on mutual respect and shared prosperity.
At State House Nairobi, witnessed the signing of this landmark financial agreement between the Government of Kenya and NEXI, represented by CEO Atsuo Kuroda.
Kenya will harness Japan’s capital, technology, and decades of industrial excellence to expand our local vehicle manufacturing capacity, placing more Kenyan-made cars on our roads.
Joined CS Hon. @kipmurkomen in a meeting with the Nairobi Metropolitan Police Unit technical team on the operationalisation of the Unit, which will enhance public order, safeguard businesses and critical installations, and improve traffic flow across Nairobi and its environs.
The team is finalising operational frameworks informed by best practices from the US, UK, Italy and Japan, with a strong emphasis on public participation and technology in crime prevention and response.
This follows a recent benchmarking exercise in Italy, which I attended, aimed at strengthening modern and intelligence-led policing models.
Present were colleague PS Ahmed Abdisalan Ibrahim (National Government Coordination), Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja, DCI Director Amin Mohamed, DIGs Eliud Lagat (KPS), Gilbert Masengeli (APS), Principal Administrative Secretary Beverly Opwora and Nairobi City County Head of Law Enforcement and Inspectorate Services Eva Wangechi among other stakeholders.
From the historic grounds of Kamukunji to a vision inspired by globally admired cities such as Singapore, President William Ruto is demonstrating that meaningful transformation is achievable through decisive leadership and deliberate action.
Once neglected and underutilized, Kamukunji Grounds has been revitalized under the Nairobi Rivers Regeneration Project into a modern, vibrant public space that serves the community in multiple ways.
Our political dynamics have really changed but our mindset as a country hasn't. And that's sad. We are still emotional and irrational.
This couldn't have been emphasized better than looking back at what happened in Mbeere North.
Prior to Mbeere North by-election, June 2024 had happened-and sadly we misinterpreted dissent from a few people translated to what the entire country was feeling. You can see protests nowadays lost psyche and allure for the simplest of reasons- Kenyans internalized President Ruto’s good intentions and forgave him.
Then Gachagua’s impeachment came. That was the breaking point. Personally I thought mambo itaenda segemnege huko murima.
The online rage from a section of Mt. Kenya bloggers made us believe Ruto committed a political suicide by kicking Gachagua out of office. They were all WRONG.
They made us believe Mt Kenya people are done with Ruto and UDA. I equally didn't have any hope left in Mbeere North.
Then boom! UDA captured that seat in the free and fair by-election. That's when it dawned on many Kenyans that there's online noise from the minority and there's offline satisfaction with Ruto from the majority that often people tend to ignore.
Ruto has done so much in 4 years than previous Presidents accomplished in ten years .
Look around! Construction every where. This can't be possible in an unstable economy.
Cost of living is historically low. Projects that stalled in previous governments are being completed.
The historic Rironi-Nakuru-Mau Summit road is being constructed after 50 years of neglect.
Coffee and Tea prices are historically high.
Like I said, our political dynamics have changed but our mindset hasn't.
@HERachelTabitha@Isaac_Otwoma Don’t worry, it’s just my stomach reacting to the quality of this argument. 🤣
Anyway, Thank you Doctor. I’ll add your expert opinion right next to the other things nobody asked for
Best wishes to the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Shri Rahul Gandhi Ji on his birthday. Praying for his good health and long life.
@RahulGandhi
The construction of the County Aggregation and Industrial Park (CAIP) at Riwa in Rachuonyo Constituency, Homa Bay County, reaffirms the Government's deliberate push to industrialize the country through decentralized manufacturing hubs under the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
Delivered through a strong Intergovernmental Partnership between the National and County Government of Homa Bay, the project is positioning the region as a key player in agro-industrial growth.
Significant progress has already been achieved. The substructures of four warehouses are complete and awaiting final finishes, including ongoing plaster works and installation of essential amenities, while four additional warehouses are at the roofing stage. The perimeter wall is also fully constructed, securing the expansive 536-hectare site.
The CAIP will support value addition across strategic value chains including cotton, pineapple, fish, oil palm, groundnuts, avocado and sweet potato; unlocking opportunities for aggregation, processing and market access.
To support its successful rollout, the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration is coordinating local administrative structures and security agencies to safeguard the site, facilitate seamless community engagement and ensure a stable operating environment that attracts investors and sustains industrial activity at the CIAP.
Village elders are the bridge between government and community, serving as the vital link that connects public administration to the grassroots while translating national priorities into local action.
Hosted the Kokoth Kateng' Elders from Karachuonyo Constituency, Homa Bay County, for a consultative meeting on matters of community development, peacebuilding, social cohesion and effective grassroots governance.
'Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.' - Romans 14:19
Joined fellow Adventist faithful at Sombro SDA Church in Kochia, Rangwe Constituency, Homa Bay County, for a special Sabbath service that also provided an opportunity for a resource mobilization drive in support of the Church's infrastructure development project.
Women play a vital role in driving community development, especially in rural areas where they remain central to household stability, enterprise and grassroots transformation.
It is therefore our shared responsibility to expand opportunities that enable them to thrive, lead and contribute meaningfully to national socio-economic progress.
This commitment aligns with the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), which advances community-led initiatives that empower citizens at the grassroots. It is further strengthened by the spirit of the Broad-Based Government, which emphasizes collaboration across all divides in pursuit of inclusive development and shared prosperity.
It is also commendable that both the leadership of Homa Bay County under Governor Gladys Wanga and Rangwe Constituency under Hon. Dr. Lilian Gogo is in the hands of women, whose leadership continues to inspire and advance the empowerment agenda for the benefit of all.
Joined other national and regional leaders for the Rangwe Constituency Women Empowerment Program at Asumbi Girls' National School in Rangwe Constituency, Homa Bay County.
Nobody talks about it, but a lot of young men are depressed. Not from partying. Not from dating. But from carrying responsibilities they aren’t ready for but can’t escape. May God give strength to every man silently trying to hold it all together.
Idk but Michelle Obama telling Barack “You told me all those years ago that you couldn't promise me the world, but you could promise me an interesting life. And, of course you outdid yourself and managed to give me both." is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard someone say to another 🥹
