Marry someone who knows Jesus genuinely
Not a church goer
I’m not saying he or she plays Elevation worship on Saturdays when doing chores
I’m saying someone who has been to the cross and has met Jesus for real
It is the fear of God that keeps your spouse faithful
Me going to bed right now because God is in control of the situation and instead of staying up worrying I rather cast my cares on him and rest in his love and peace.
HOW PEOPLE WITH THE BIGGEST HEARTS ALWAYS ATTRACT THE MOST DIFFICULT, EMOTIONALLY DRAINING, DISRESPECTFUL, AND DISLOYAL PEOPLE IS SOMETHING I DON’T UNDERSTAND
Just apologize to your partner when you know you messed up bruh… All that manipulative behavior and getting mad at them for being upset when they have a valid reason is just weird. People love to say they’re grown until it’s time to take accountability.
i watched a man beg me to trust him, beg me to let my guard down, beg me to believe he was different, just for him to turn around and do the exact same shĩt. he held me every night, looked me dead in my eyes, told me he loved me, and still lied without blinking. that kind of betrayal rewires your heart. it makes you question love, trust, and even yourself. but one thing it taught me? never ignore your intuition. ever.
A cheating man is bad enough.
But you know what’s even worse?
A man who pretends to be good, but in reality is a pathological liar, a lustful manipulator, and an expert at playing the victim.
At a wedding rehearsal, the groom forgot his vows.
Not nervous-forgot.
Didn’t write them.
He laughed and said, “I’ll wing it.”
Everyone chuckled.
The bride had hers folded in her purse for weeks. Rewritten three times. Practiced in the mirror.
The next day he gave a short, funny speech about how she “finally locked him down.”
Crowd loved it.
When it was her turn, she talked about loyalty, partnership, building a future, protecting each other’s peace.
People cried.
Later at the reception someone told her, “You’re so lucky he’s so chill.”
Chill.
Like effort is embarrassing.
Like caring deeply is extra.
Like the one who prepares is intense and the one who coasts is cool.
They’re still married.
But if you watch closely, she still carries the calendar. The plans. The emotional weight. The remembering.
He still wings it.
The brutal part?
Women are praised for devotion.
Men are praised for minimal participation.
And somehow that’s still called equal.
