The fair solution was to give women equal pay and positions before taking away £40k in pension rights. Women were marginalised, ‘supervised’ in the workforce. Men got promotions, praise, high salaries for little value added work.
@WASPI_Campaign@leicesterliz It’s incredible that a woman prevents other women from receiving justice. Didn’t you know that the 50s to 90s was a time of high inequality, sexism, in the workplace? Men earning huge salaries for supervising a woman getting the job done. Women wanted equal pay and positions.
@EnergyBillHigh@WASPI_Campaign@leicesterliz I think equal pay and equal pension rights should have gone hand in hand. There was a glass ceiling, men earnt far more for supervising/enhancing the same job. The men didn’t want to retire as they had reached a high salary level with minimum effort and accountability.
