Working together on a SF ballot measure which will protect against 7,000 of our neighbors losing their homes and move more than 4,000 people off the streets.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court declined to hear the Prop C challenge today.
The Court of Appeal Decision stands.
Prop C — passed by voters in 2018 to fund homeless housing, mental health & substance use services, prevention & shelter — is officially San Francisco law!!!!!!!
We need all hands on deck this Friday at 10am to demand the BOS respect OCOH recommendations, fully fund CART, and secure funding for 24hour bathrooms for all San Franciscans! #OurCityOurBudget
When the mayor released her provisional budget, we were delighted to see that many of the Oversight Committee’s suggestions were included. There are, however, some vital programs that were left out of the Mayor's Proposed Budget.
On June 16th, at 11 am, there will be a budget hearing on Our City Our Home. This is one of our last opportunities to pressure the Supervisors through public comment to include the OCOH funding recommendations in the final budget for this year.
Proposition C, passed by the voters of San Francisco in November 2018, created a Gross Receipts Tax to fund new, permanent solutions to homelessness. The Our City, Our Home (OCOH) Oversight Committee was tasked with preparing an investment proposal for spending the OCOH funds.
Happening now. The OCOH Committee is meeting to make recommendations which will help allocate a majority of the $800m in the @OurHomeSF fund. This is a HUGE milestone. So exciting to see how the $$ will now be spent to make a difference in the lives of our homeless neighbors!!!
We did it! 🎉🥳
The first expenditures of the Our City Our Home fund will go to providing housing, including exits for SIP hotel residents & behavioral health services, including 150 treatment beds + purchasing board & care facilities.
We need your help to support the Our City Our Home Plan.
Speak out during public comment TODAY in support!
Watch the hearing here (We'll let you know when it comes up) /4

We’d love to give you some updates about Prop C after winning the 2-year legal battle earlier this yr:
Per the legislation, the 9 member Our City Our Home Oversight Committee has been appointed. people with lived experience of homelessness, advocates, and service providers! /1
BUT DPH has developed a counter plan tht does nothing to move the needle on homelessness.
Their plan spends millions each yr on band-aid fixes like case management & refilling prescriptions. Without stable housing or even a bed to sleep in at night, this is a waste of money. /3
TODAY: Interested in how S.F. will spend Prop C money? Members of the public can watch and comment during the Prop C oversight committee’s 9:30 a.m. meeting at this link:
