@RitadeCSB Unfortunately, with fuel prices what they are and tariffs hitting input costs, consumer staples are not the safe haven they once were. I suspect there is some discount retailer competition in these categories as well. Private label brands (Kirkland) is best version. Temu worst?
@GuywithUmbrella@1991Wolfpack@wealthmatica Quality combined with price is the issue. For example: In n Out = similar cost but vastly superior quality (no pink slime, actual ground MEAT), service and facilities. MCD always smells like piss and ass inside too.
@GuywithUmbrella@1991Wolfpack@wealthmatica Filet o fish is garbage. It all is, but the FOF tastes like a putrid, infected wound and costs $$$. Never has MCD had so many competitors with higher quality at a similar price: Whataburger, IN N out, chick fil a, etc etc etc. Stock way overpriced. Boomers ☠️ = MCD ☠️💵
@CNBC Owned CVX since the GFC and EPD since Covid crash. I wouldn’t buy CVX here. I think I’m getting 12% +- annual yield on my original investment. Still underperformed SPY and QQQ drastically.
@SullyCNBC@CNBCTheExchange Too expensive to eat completely garbage food. If MCD hits me more than $5-$6 for a meal I’m out. I don’t want to be my own cashier and if one goes inside the seats smell like a bunch of people pissed/shit their pants.
In-N-Out = $10 +- and 10x the quality. Same for Chick-Fil-A.
@xEBITDA You sell a company that misleads you intentionally whether it be directly: pre-announcing revenue that wasn’t there, or allusion and suggestion: making “speculative” statements on possible contracts. This one headed to receivership imho.
@mind1nvestor 🤣 I don’t know… there is just something about management intentionally misleading investors time after time that makes me kind of think that this is going back to a sub $1b valuation and leaving a trail of bag holders and taxpayers in its wake.
@YodaStockInvest Think more like CC processing fees in general. After interchange fees they run 3-3.5% for small businesses and 100 basis points less for large. Low margin retail? The CC reader makes more margin than you.
