Social enterprise working with, for & in Brandwood neighbourhoods to help connect people with shared interests & run fun collaborative community projects.
Another 14 bags from Brandwood B14 to add to #onemillionbags@markrowlands569
We had a new recruit today @AlistairCarns too who filled one up and saw for himself the thoughtless littering & flytipping, which seems to be Birmingham-wide!

Spent 5 hours with my Litter Pick 3 of us) & Park gang (8 of us) tidying Brandwood & our lovely local Dawberry Fields Park. Between us collected 15 bags! #onemillionbags
Thanks for 🙌the coverage today @BBCMidlandsPR on the garden https://t.co/RgwhNJInLw There are many amazing community action projects across Brum run by the third sector that work hard to build community & make a difference, but few feature on the news! Positivity spreads.
Dawberry Corner Community Garden is in the news! Full feature will be on Midlands Today at 6.30pm featuring more of the fab volunteers. https://t.co/aSAF7Vkjr9
Thank you to the fab folk of The Good Yarners for the tree & fence decorations for Dawberry Corner Community Garden. Castle Cartons in Kings Road sponsored the tree & lights. It looks so pretty! Online gallery of makes here: https://t.co/Mg2IOiXXA0 project funded by @SellyOakNNS
It's turning into a duvet weekend! Tomorrow's event is cancelled. Stay safe if you are out and about in this horrible weather. Composting workshops will be rescheduled in 2025.
Lovely morning in Dawberry Corner Garden with @OprahFlash & Paul from the BBC News team, talking about the garden transformation & how it is bringing us closer to nature & to our neighbours thanks to a Nature Fund grant from @hellohubbub & Starbucks. Keep an eye out for the piece
Ready for next Sunday's workshop (you are all welcome), the rat proofed compost bays are finished!! Massive thank you to Andy, Adrian and Julie from the garden volunteer team who built them and to Louise at #TheCompostConnectionCIC for the expert guidance.

@SandwellSkidder@eldiablo0786@OurSceneCIC@enjoykingsheath@DarrylMagher Respectfully, you need to be more mindful of who you are catching in the crossfire when you are tweeting about Kings Heath being rubbish.
It doesn't look great calling Disabled People a "special interest group" & implying businesses don't want disabled people to shop with them.
Our final post for #PurpleTuesday We've been offering a window sticker to the 16 businesses in High Street area who have a hearing loop system installed. Our project with @enjoykingsheath is also offering small grants of £200 via #UKSPF funding to businesses who might want one!
As part of our #UKSPF funded project with @enjoykingsheath we have created resources for disabled shoppers to help them plan their visit to Kings Heath High Street. This survey was produced by local residents with access needs from their perspective: https://t.co/C3biqzxiwa
The #purpletuesday message we have for Kings Heath businesses is that it makes business sense to improve access! Why wouldn't you?? There are so many potential local customers with access needs & £££ you might be missing out on! Tag a local business owner! @enjoykingsheath#UKSPF
We've been giving out NEW window stickers as part of #PurpleTuesday to raise awareness to shoppers about portable ramp access along KH High Street and the work we are doing with @enjoykingsheath funded by #UKSPF to improve access for disabled customers. https://t.co/C3biqzxiwa
Lovely spontaneous afternoon out out with the lovely Friends of @DawberryFields Park testing the new Dawberry Fields brewed by @atticbrewco - suffice to say …
Dawberry Fields Forever!!
