Also I'm not obsessed with anything, I just don't agree with your position. Legal immigration should be controlled through an application process based on what skills we need

@HeleneFrenchie @SamCKx France is part of mainland Europe, not a small island like the UK, big difference. And I would seek asylum until the war ended and then return home, making sure my family was safe with me. Also how does this make me entitled? Not sure where you inferred that from?

@HeleneFrenchie @SamCKx I didn't sew anything, that all happened before I was born (which is a long time ago). I'd definitely want somewhere safe to go if war broke out here , but I'd go there legally and take my family with me. Probably France as it's close by and we'd be safe

@HeleneFrenchie @SamCKx Not at first because the situation has been allowed to get out of hand, but there are plenty of young people who would love the opportunity to train up and take those jobs

@HeleneFrenchie @SamCKx Why we are allowing more and more people into the UK when you can't get to see a doctor, housing is scarce, roads are busier, classroom sizes are increasing, govt spending is going up etc... it's because the country does not have the infrastructure to support all of these people

@HeleneFrenchie @SamCKx A governments first obligation is to the citizens it represents, not people from elsewhere in the world, they have their own governments to look after them. I'm not talking about skin colour or where anyone has come from, just the numbers.
